Guest Teacher Information
This first half of the training will be completed virtually through online modules.
The second half of the training will be an in person session - more information to follow.
Why Become a Guest Teacher:
You will have a flexible schedule and the freedom to pick and choose the days worked, as well the buildings and classrooms where you would like to be assigned. Most importantly, you will be sharing in the education of our students.
We are seeking anyone that holds a Bachelor’s degree such as stay-at-home parents or recent college graduates to serve as a guest teacher.
Qualifications:
To qualify as a Guest Teacher, participants must:
- hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- successfully complete the District’s Guest Teacher training program.

Once contacted, she will provide access to the training modules and additional information on required paperwork.
Pay:
Guest Teachers will receive $125/day. Guest Teachers will also be eligible for the Substitute Teacher Incentive Program. The program allows for a monthly incentive payment depending on the number of substitute openings that a Guest Teacher accepts in a given month. The incentives are as follows:
Monthly Incentive
5 Substitute Days - $100 per eligible month
10 Substitute Days - $250 per eligible month
