(3/11/25) Pedestrian Accident

Dear MASD families,

I want to make you aware of a terrible incident that occurred this morning. While crossing the street on their way to school, one of our Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School students was struck by a vehicle. Emergency responders and the student’s family were immediately notified and arrived on the scene. The student is conscious and was transported for medical care. Out of respect for the student and their family, we are not sharing additional details at this time.

The safety of our students is always our top priority. We will work closely with local authorities as they review the circumstances of the incident. As a school community, we will provide any necessary support to those affected, including counseling services for students or staff who may need them.
